Businesses Hit With Shattered Glass Burglaries At Same Lake Ridge Shopping Center
Prince William County Police are investigating reports of shattered glass damages and one missing cash register from burglaries.
LAKE RIDGE, VA — Businesses at the same shopping center in Lake Ridge had their glass doors shattered, and one had a cash register stolen, according to Prince William County Police.
The most recent burglaries prompted a police response around 1:56 a.m. Monday at the Dillingham Square shopping center in the 12500 block of Dillingham Square. Police say the glass doors were shattered at Pizza Hut and Chili On Top. There were no immediate reports of missing property.
Police are investigating another burglary reported around 2:39 a.m. on the last Friday. Police believe a suspect entered the business through a shattered front door. A cash register was reported missing from the business. It is unclear if the burglaries involve the same suspects.

Armed Robbery: On April 5 at 7:24PM, officers responded to the Tackett’s Mill shopping center located in the 2200 block of Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile, was approached and robbed at gunpoint by three unknown men. The suspects took the victim’s shoes and other clothing items and electronics before leaving the area in a white Acura sedan. No injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as one white male and two black males, all reported to be in their late teens wearing dark-colored clothing and masks.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm: On April 6 at 9:41PM, officers responded to the area of Porters Inn Dr and River Ridge Blvd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple shots were heard near a wooded area. Shell casings were located. No injuries or property damage were reported.
