Get your child moving with MishMash: Music & Motion on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Potomac Community Library at 2201 Opitz Blvd. Kids ages 2 to 5 are welcome with their families. Free, no registration required.
Bring your child in to Chinn Park Regional Library at 13065 Chinn Park Drive on Oct. 1 at 10:30 a.m. for a story hour, with stories, songs and finger plays. Kids ages 2 to 6 welcome. Caregiver must be present. Free, no registration required.
The Prince William Committee of 100 is holding a candidate forum on Oct. 2 at 7:15 p.m. at Westminster at Lake Ridge at 12191 Clipper Drive for the 31st and 51st Virginia House District candidates. The forum is free and open to the public. The dinner before the forum is $25 and requires advance registration by Sept. 30 at noon.
Chinn Park Regional Library is trying to set a record for the most kids reading or listening to the same book on the same day. Drop in on Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages welcome. Free, no registration required.
