Dale City Woman Charged With Cutting Man's Arm, Torso With Glass
An 18-year-old man was reportedly injured.

Police charged Dale City resident Erika Thomas with malicious wounding after a Woodbridge man told police that he had been cut in the arm and torso with a piece of glass, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
Police responded to Filarete Street and Feiss Court on Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. for a reported assault.
"The victim, an 18-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation, in the street, which escalated," Perok said. "During the encounter, the accused allegedly picked up a piece of glass from the road and cut the victim to his arm and torso. Minor injuries were reported. The accused left the area but was located a short distance away and detained without further incident."

After an investigation, Thomas was arrested. Her court date is unavailable. She is being held without bond.
