'East Coast Rapist' Suspect to Stand Trial in July

Aaron H. Thomas could face up to five life sentences if convicted.

The Washington Post has reported that "East Coast Rapist" suspect Aaron H. Thomas was indicted by a grand jury in Prince William County.

Thomas' trial date is set for July 31.

The Post said Thomas could face up to five life sentences if convicted of raping two girls in Dale City on Halloween in 2009.

Thomas has been linked by DNA evidence to rapes across the east coast, thus the name "East Coast Rapist" police bestowed upon the suspect. The cases range from locally in Dale City, in Prince George's County in Maryland, Fairfax County, Leesburg and New Haven, CT. 

Thomas was arrested at his home in r and was extradited to Prince William County.
