
National Weather Service has issued an elevated fire threat this afternoon and evening due to westerly winds ahead of a cold front that will increase winds 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts of 40 mph. Outdoor burning is not advised despite high fuel moistures.
NWS predicts the weather for today to be mostly sunny with scattered sprinkles after 4 p.m.
