
Everest College opened a new campus in Woodbridge, where it offers programs training students to become dental assistants, medical assistants and pharmacy technicians, among other career choices.
This is the fourth Everest College campus in Virginia.
“Our new campus offers programs that help students enter into the occupations of today,” said Campus President Jan Schoonmaker. “Virginia residents seeking new skills and careers to better compete in this tough job market will appreciate having these additional educational opportunities.”

The campus is at Woodbridge's Potomac Festival Plaza at 14555 Potomac Mills Rd. near Opitz Blvd and Gideon Drive. Though the campus is open now, classes start Aug. 23.
Classes are held both during the day and in the evening to accommodate a wide variety of student schedules. The campus has access to public transportation.

The campus will also hire about 40 new individuals in the next year, in addition to the approximately 30 faculty and staff they have already hired.
