Fire Damages Home In Woodbridge

Two families were displaced by a fire Friday night in Woodbridge, according to the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Two families were displaced by a house fire Friday night at 1946 Richmond Avenue, according to the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department. No one was injured, and a dog was rescued from the basement.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the home and found smoke coming from the front door. The fire in the basement and brought under control in about 15 minutes. The Prince William County Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
