Gar-Field Soccer Player Named Athlete of the Year

Congratulations to Luiz Cartagena, who was ranked athlete of the year by the Washington Post's annual All-Met ranking for Washington, D.C.-area sports.

Cartagena, a senior, was described as  "the area's most dangerous striker." The Post also said that Cartagena will be pursuing a professional soccer career after graduation.
