I-95 Night Lane Closures To Last Through Fall In Prince William County

Up to two lanes will be closed at times on five nights a week through late fall, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Nighttime lane closures for road work will affect Interstate 95 in Prince William County starting Sunday, April 28 through late fall, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Road joint repairs and paving will prompt the single and double lane closures on I-95, VDOT says. One to two lanes will be closed during the nighttime work, but at least one lane will remain open in each direction.

Work will happen on Sunday through Thursday nights, and Friday nights are a backup option in the case of inclement weather. Northbound lane closures will happen between Russell Road (Exit 148 – Marine Corps Base Quantico) and the truck weigh station around mile marker 154 (between Route 234 and Dale City exits). Southbound I-95 lane closures will happen between Joplin Road (Route 619/Exit 150) and the Stafford County line (around mile marker 148/Quantico exit).
