Ladino Ct. Update: Concealed Weapon Charges, Second Suspect Arrested
Police said suspect allegedly concealed the weapon in his rectum while at adult detention center.

Update 1:30 p.m: The second suspect in the Ladino Court burglary has been arrested.
The U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force arrested Dale City resident Daniel James Gilliam, 18, on March 5. Police said Gilliam was located in the 14200 block of Caroline St. of Woodbridge and was taken into custody without incident.

Gilliam faces charges of burglary and grand larceny of a firearm.

The suspect in the faces additional charges after adult detention center staff allegedly found a concealed weapon in his rectum.
Police said Brandon Delonte Braxton, 18, allegedly concealed a small handgun in his rectum prior to arrest and subsequent transfer to the facility on March 1.
The adult detention center staff was alerted to the presence of the handgun and a search was conducted, police said.
The gun was found without incident and secured. two counts of burglary and two counts of grand larceny of a firearm when arrested for the Ladino Court incident. He now has additional charges of possession of a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon by a prisoner and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Previously police said they linked Braxton to a in the 15200 block of Warbler Court. A rifle and a handgun were reported missing.
Those guns are still reported missing but the one recovered at the detention center is from the Ladino Court burglary, police said.
Police are still looking for a second suspect in the Ladino Court burglary, Daniel James Gilliam, 18, of 14718 Birchdale Dr. Gilliam is described as a black male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black, afro-style hair. He is wanted for burglary and grand larceny of a firearm.
