Help Kids In Need Have New Socks This Fall

Don’t miss the chance to help Assistance League of Northern Virginia celebrate SOCKtoberfest before the month is over. During 2024 we are celebrating 20 years of community service with a series of monthly wish lists focused on specific needs that low-income families struggle to afford.

October has brought true Fall weather, with sandals being replaced by regular shoes and socks. Unfortunately, many low- income families can’t afford new socks as the weather changes. Last year’s socks are worn out or outgrown so this month’s wish list features a wide assortment of socks for elementary school age boys and girls to help meet the need.

You can make a difference by making a contribution from the wish list so children have new socks for the season. Use this link: https://tiny.alnv.org/5lq or scan the QR code on the flyer to make a selection. Please select the Assistance League of Northern Virginia as the shipping address to assure prompt delivery. All contributions make a difference and Assistance League is grateful for the community’s ongoing support. Learn more at www.alnv.org
