Man Assaults Cop In Woodbridge: Police
A man was arrested after threatening family members with a knife and then assaulting a police officer at a home in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested early Thursday, April 11, after threatening family members with a knife and then assaulting a police officer at a home in the 13700 block of Greenbriar Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Ryan Watts, 19, of the same address, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement and obstruction of justice.
Around 2:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the residence for a reported domestic incident. They found that Watts was involved in an argument with other family members that escalated, during which he waved a knife at them. When officers tried to detain him, a struggle ensued and he kicked one cop in the upper body.
He was brought under control and arrested without further incident. No injuries were reported.
