Man Fatally Shot In Woodbridge: Police
A man was fatally shot during an argument early Sunday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police, and a suspect was arrested.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was fatally shot during an argument early Sunday in the area of Rippon Boulevard and Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Prince William County Police. Daniel James Gilliam, 25, of Woodbridge, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died later that morning.
Arrested in the shooting—and before Gilliam died—was Markus Sean-Thurman Dean, 23, of the 60 block of Gardens Drive in Alexandria. He was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, and additional charges are expected.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported shooting. They found that while in a nearby parking lot, Dean and Gilliam were in an argument that escalated, during which the latter was shot. Dean then fled on foot but, based on a description by witnesses, was found nearby and arrested without incident.
