Man Stabbed During Party In Woodbridge: Police

A man was stabbed during a house party in Woodbridge while trying to intervene in an assault, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was stabbed at a house party in the 1600 block of Maurice Drive during the overnight hours of March 23, according to Prince William County Police. Authorities were contacted after the 31-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Shortly after 7:15 a.m., police went to the hospital for a reported stabbing. The man said that during the party, he saw an acquaintance being assaulted and tried to intervene. That's when he was stabbed, after which a family member arrived and took him to the hospital.

No information was released about whoever stabbed the man. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
