Marumsco Plaza Clean-up Saturday

New Life Anointed Ministries International is partnering with a local non-profit.

From Keep Prince William Beautiful:

Keep Prince William Beautiful, Inc. (KPWB) is organizing a community clean-up that will be held on Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to noon behind Marumsco Plaza which is located along the Route 1 corridor in Woodbridge.

is partnering with KPWB by providing volunteers to pick up trash and debris in a wooded area which is located behind the Plaza and which faces the church. A perennial stream has been a major collection point for trash from pedestrian traffic and illegal dumping due in part to its semi-secluded location.

Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi said, “We will continue to see positive change in the Woodbridge District as long as we have people working together to make a difference. Thanks to the members of the New Life Anointed churches for giving up their Saturday to clean up an area that has needed attention for quite some time.”

“As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Keep Prince William Beautiful, I hope that our partnerships with residents, businesses and government will help us to educate and inspire people to be environmental stewards and thus Keep Prince William Beautiful for our residents in the future,” Supervisor Jenkins said.
