PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—If you're looking for a way to become more involved in your neighborhood's safety efforts, or simply want to learn more about existing activities, here's a good way to do just that. It's the Neighborhood Watch meeting, the latest version of which will be held 7-8 p.m. Monday, April 8, at the Charlie T. Deane Central District Station (5036 Davis Ford Road) in Woodbridge.

Put on by the Crime Prevention Unit of Prince William County Police, the session's topics will include situational awareness, crime reporting, home security, active-violence preparedness and a question-and-answer period. Call 703-792-7270 for more information.
