Occoquan Shops to Hold Lemonade Yard Sale

A weekend full of great deals, with lemonade to keep shoppers refreshed.

Occoquan shops have banded together to fight off the summer doldrums during their Lemonade Yard Sale on July 20-21.

"This is not sponsored by any organization," Kathy Alden of Spiral Creations said. "Just some shops trying to get things going."

Shops across town will feature great deals and offer lemonade to keep customers refreshed.

"Look for a yellow balloon in front of participating shops," a flier read.

The Lemonade Yard Sale will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

"We will have a large sidewalk sale those two days with many items 50 percent or more off. July 21 is also the last day of our Summer Sale, so there will be 20 percent to 50 percent off many items throughout the store including: sweaters, capes, scarves, hats, silver Celtic jewelry, gold & diamonds, antique china, prints and paintings.  We will have iced lemon water and lemon cookies for refreshments."
