Police: Indecent Exposure at Marumsco Plaza

Police searching for man allegedly exposing himself.

Prince William County Police are looking for a man driving a red four-door sedan after two indecent exposure incident they believe to be related. 

In the latest case, a 17-year-old Woodbridge girl told police that around 10:30 p.m. on Monday she was walking in Marumsco Plaza when an unknown man pulled up next to her. The man driving the car allegedly asked for directions and as the girl approached the vehicle, the driver appeared to be exposing himself. 

The girl turned away and left the area.

Police said a similar incident occurred on Nov. 25 around 6:30 p.m. when a 22-year-old Woodbridge woman was also walking in Marumsco Plaza when a man drove up to her and asked for directions. As she was speaking to the driver, the woman noticed he was exposing himself to her. The woman told the driver she was calling the police and the man drove off.

In both incidents, the man never exited the vehicle or attempted to grab either woman.

Police are on the lookout for a black man, between 20 and 25-years-old, unknown height and weight, possibly of medium build with short black hair and an unshaven face. His vehicle is described as a red four-door sedan; no further details on make or model were available.
