Police: Man Robbed of Cell Phone and Wallet on Horner Road

Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a Woodbridge man of his cell phone and wallet at gunpoint, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police initially responded to the 1700 block of Horner Road in Woodbridge on Sept. 18 at 5:23 p.m. for the report of a robbery that reportedly happened Sept. 14 at about 1:30 a.m.

"The victim, a 20-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by a black SUV," Perok said. "A passenger exited the vehicle and approached the victim. At that point, the suspect struck the victim to his face. The suspect then displayed a handgun and took the victim’s wallet and cell phone before getting back in the vehicle and leaving the area. Minor injuries were reported. The driver never exited the vehicle."
