Prince William County To Host Public Safety Day
At Prince William's Public Safety Day celebration on Sept. 21, the general public can meet the county's first responders.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — First responders from across Prince William County will celebrate Public Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will take place at the Sean T. Connaughton Plaza, 1 County Complex Court, off the Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.
Come and meet police officers, firefighters, dispatchers and other first responders, learn about emergency preparedness, and tour fire, EMS, police and sheriff's vehicles. Other events include a helicopter landing and tours of the county's emergency dispatch center.
This event is free to the public with many kid-friendly activities, including McGruff the Crime Dog, Sparky the Fire Dog, child IDs from the Sheriff's Office, a home fire escape obstacle course, and car seat safety checks.
