Updated: Red Flag Fire Warning for Northern Virginia
NWS said critical fire conditions exist.
The National Weather Service has issued a red flag fire warning for 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Saturday. The warnin was continued from noon until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
A fire watch is also in effect from Sunday morning until Sunday evening.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions exist now or will be occuring later in the day. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create "explosive fire growth potential" said NWS.

Winds are forecast to be 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
