School Threat Leads To Charge For Teen At Potomac High School
A teen was charged after a threat to Potomac High School was anonymously reported to Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA — A school threat on social media resulted in a charge at Potomac High School in Dumfries, according to Prince William County Police.
According to a police investigation, a threat posted on Instagram was reported anonymously Sunday. Officers found no credible threat to Potomac High School.
The school resource officer assigned to the high school obtained a detention order in connection with the threat. A 15-year-old boy was charged with threats to school property. Juveniles are facing criminal charges are typically not identified by police.
