1 Person Dead In Woodbridge Triple Shooting: Police
Police say one person is dead and two are injured from a shooting behind a shopping center. A Fredericksburg man is charged.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — One person was killed and two more were injured in shooting behind a shopping center in Woodbridge Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police. Police are now investigating the shooting as a homicide and have made an arrest.
Officers had responded to the shooting in the 14200 block of Smoketown Road around 5:13 p.m. Wednesday. Police did not initially find any injured people. When searching a wooded area behind the shopping center, officers located three people with gunshot wounds.
Fire and rescue personnel pronounced a 29-year-old man dead. He was identified as Tevon Dean Haskins, 29, of Woodbridge.

The other two, both 42-year-old men, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe the shooting was contained to the woods behind the shopping center.

An investigation determined the shooting was not random. According to police, a man who Haskins previously encountered approached him. As a verbal argument ensued, multiple rounds were fired and fatally struck Haskins and injured the two other men.
The suspect left before police arrived at the scene. Detectives found the suspect Thursday morning in the Fredericksburg area.
The suspect, Dean Campbell, 45, of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, malicious wounding, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held without bond.
