On December 13th The Colonel William Grayson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution took part in Wreaths Across America. The organization Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, at various cemeteries in Prince William County, as well as at more than 4,900 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad. The mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember those who served, honor veterans throughout the year, and teach America’s children the value of freedom.

The Sons of the American Revolution seeks to foster cooperative arrangements with patriotic organizations such as Wreaths Across America in pursuit of our common goals to honor, remember, and support those who have served, and to inspire our communities to “a more profound reverence for the principles of the government founded by our forefathers”

Colonel William Grayson Chapter President Andrew Mills, Vice President Jeff Sterling, Color Guard Commander Jon Huddleston, Quartermaster Jack Mills, Guardsmen Bill Groth, Greg Hall, Ray Hawkins, and Scout Committee Chairman Tim Cline were in attendance and participated in the event. It was a good day to be a Son of the American Revolution.
