Suspect Sought in 2 Armed Robberies in Woodbridge: Police

Man is suspected of robbing an Exxon and Papa Johns over the last 6 weeks, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Detectives have identified the suspect in two recent armed robberies in the Woodbridge area.

Joseph Tyler Kelley, of the 4700 block of Kenny Court, Woodbridge, is wanted on two counts of robbery, according to Prince William County Police.

Police describe Kelley as a white male, 6ft., 140lbs. he has a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators say Kelley is connected to the July 11 robbery of the Dale Boulevard Papa Johns and the robbery of the Exxon service station on Quate Lane in June.

Before dusk June 8, a man walked into the Exxon service station at 13549 Quate Lane and brandished a handgun, according to police. The man demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 11 p.m., July 11, a man entered the Papa Johns at 4814 Dale Boulevard and displayed a knife. Again, the man demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
