Taxi Driver Stabbed In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are looking for two men involved in the stabbing of a taxi driver Tuesday in Woodbridge, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for two men involved in the stabbing of a taxi driver Tuesday in the area of Dawson Beach Road and Express Way, according to Prince William County Police. One is described as white, in his mid 20s, 6-4 and with a thin build. The other is described as black, in his mid 20s with short hair.

Around 1:20 p.m., police responded to a reported stabbing. The cab driver—a 57-year-old man—said he drove the two men from the Richmond Highway and Lorton road area to the VRE station in Woodbridge. When he asked for the payment, one of them broke out a knife and cut him on the face.

They then fled without paying. The driver left the area and contacted police before being taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
