Prince William County Police are investigating the cause of the crash. According to police, a 2025 Mercedes GLE was trying to turn left from westbound Riverview Lane onto Gordon Boulevard. The car went in the path of a 2012 Freightliner heavy-duty truck heading south on Gordon Boulevard. The truck hit the Mercedes at a T-bone angle, causing the Mercedes to spin around and strike two other vehicles at the intersection. The truck driver lost control, leading it to hit two other vehicles, go down an embankment, hit five parked cars in the condo parking lot and strike the building.
Police say the Mercedes driver, a 67-year-old man from Woodbridge, did not have the right-of-way. Charges are pending from police in the crash investigation.
