Two Dale City Women Charged With Assaulting Woman With Metal Pipe
The victim was hit in the face and torso.
Two Dale City women have been charged with malicious wounding after a 33-year-old Woodbridge woman was reportedly assaulted with a metal pipe in the 14300 block of Belleville Avenue on July 23 at about 11 p.m., Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
"The victim, a 33-year-old woman of Woodbridge, was involved in a verbal altercation with a group of known acquaintances which escalated," Perok said. "During the encounter, the suspects physically assaulted the vicitm by striking her in the face and torso with a metal pipe."
The assailants reportedly fled the area before police arrived at 11:30 p.m. After an investigation, Helene Cleveland and Latoya Carter, both of Dale City, were arrested and charged with malicious wounding. Their court date and bond information is unavailable.

"This incident does not appear to be random," Perok said. "The investigation continues."
