Two Woodbridge Men Charged After Wentwood Lane Shooting Investigation

Both victims expected to survive.

Police have charged Theo Claridge, 21, and Trevon Tucker, 22, both of Woodbridge, with aggravated malicious wounding after , Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

"The investigation revealed that the victims, a 20-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both of Woodbridge, were involved in an ongoing dispute with the subjects," Perok said. 

Before the shooting, the victims reportedly met the suspects at the Build America Shopping Center. They reportedly had an argument with the suspects, and then the victims returned to Wentwood Lane.

"The suspects followed the victims and a physical altercation occurred between the victims who were standing in the street and the suspects who remained in the vehicle," Perok said. "At one point, the accused, Claridge, shot the 20-year-old victim in the chest. Claridge continued to fire, striking the 26-year-old victim in the leg and an unrelated occupied residence in the same block."

Detectives identified both Claridge and Tucker as suspects, and found both of them on Heather Glen Court. They were arrested without incident.

Police executed a search warrant at Tucker's house on Heather Glen Court. 

"The victims were both flown to an area hospital and are expected to survive," Perok said. "Investigation continues." 

Claridge was charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of usin a firearm in commission of a felony, one count of shooting from an occupied vehicle and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling. His court date is Oct. 18. He is being held without bond.
