Unlawful Entry at Rockledge Elementary School

On Aug. 31, staff told police that a group of unknown minors used an unlocked door to get into the school, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

The group reportedly entered the school at about 5 p.m. 

"Staff present at the school attempted to confront the group, at which point, the group dispersed and left the school grounds," Perok said. 

Police arrived at 5:10 p.m. No items were reported as missing from the school.
