Woman Mows Down Two People With Vehicle In Woodbridge: Police
A woman was arrested Thursday after running down two people with her vehicle in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman was arrested Thursday night after running down two people with her vehicle in the 14000 block of Carmody Place, according to Prince William County Police. Destin Wilhoit, 35, of the 2000 block of Myrtlewood Drive in Dumfries, was charged with malicious wounding, hit and run and domestic assault and battery,
Around 8 a.m., police went to the scene for a reported vehicle crash. They found that Wilhoit had been in an argument with two acquaintances—a 35-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman—that escalated. They all eventually separated but upon leaving, Wilhoit "struck both victims with her vehicle."
One of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was flown to a nearby hospital. Wilhoit left the scene before police arrived but was later found and arrested without incident.
