Woman Threatens To Bomb DMV In Prince William County: Police

A Manassas woman was arrested Tuesday for threatening to bomb a DMV office in Prince William County, according to PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A Manassas woman was arrested Tuesday for threatening to bomb a DMV office, according to Prince William County Police. Renee Nicole Roberts, 26, of the 8200 block of Vernon Street in Manassas, was charged with threats to bomb.

Around 2:30 p.m., police went to the Prince William County Tax Administration Office at 1 County Complex Court for a reported bomb threat by phone. Staff members said a woman called the office to complain about a tax issue involving her vehicle. During the conversation, she threatened to bomb an unspecified Division of Motor Vehicles office.

Police unsuccessfully tried to find her at her Manassas home but found and arrested her later.
