Woodbridge Driver Killed In Red Light Crash On Dumfries Road: Police
Prince William County Police believe a medical emergency may be tied to the crash into a cement truck.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A Woodbridge driver was killed Monday in a red light crash with a cement truck on Dumfries Road in Prince William County, according to county police.
Around 1:32 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the crash at Dumfries Road and Spriggs Road. Police say a 2014 Mazda CX-5 driver heading on Spriggs Road entered the intersection on a red light. The vehicle struck a 2025 Mack cement truck heading west on Dumfries Road.
The Mazda driver was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries. He was identified as Eagleheart Patrick Roberds, 66, of Woodbridge. Police believe the driver may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash.

The Mack cement truck driver, a 50-year-old man from Manassas, was not injured and remained at the scene.
