Woodbridge Elks Awards JROTC Medals to Prince William County High School Students

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is a federal program sponsored by the United States Armed Forces in high schools. It's purpose is "to instill in students in the United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, and personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment." Exalted Ruler Amber Stramel, Loyal Night Julius Weiner, Secretary Lynn Butler, and Inner Guard Bob Kane presented the Elks JROTC medal to six cadets in five Prince William County high schools. The Elks JROTC medal is awarded for outstanding performance in maintaining the highest standard of leadership and Americanism as a member of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

- Cadet First Lieutenant Nicholas Ippolito - Woodbridge Senior High School (Army)
