Two toddlers were living in "deplorable" conditions, Prince William County police said.

Woodbridge resident Sharon Maynard, 33, was charged today with two counts of felony child neglect after police found two toddlers had been living in "deplorable" conditions on Essex Drive, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
"Observations by police found debris, sharp object, sharp tools, open pill bottles, cigarettes, cigarette lighters and a butane torch on the floor of the residence," Perok said.
The 3-year-old male and 1-year-old female were away from the house when police arrived, but they returned with Maynard soon after.
