• Prep Wrestling Roundup: Aberdeen places second at Fife tournament (thedailyworld.com) — Aberdeen High’s wrestlers turned in a strong showing, taking second place as three Bobcats won individual titles at the Larry Brown Invitational in Fife. Local mat fans also saw big results from nearby programs, with Elma, Hoquiam, Montesano and Raymond-South Bend wrestlers earning multiple championships and podium finishes across several weekend tournaments.
   

• Local officials discuss behavioral health response at Cascade Community Health forum in Centralia ahead of legislative session (chronline.com) — Aberdeen-area residents are represented in new behavioral health funding talks as Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, joined other Southwest Washington lawmakers in Centralia to hear from local providers. Speakers stressed that jail-based addiction treatment, rural mental health clinics, and the Recovery Navigator program save money and improve stability, while urging legislators to protect and potentially restore funding in the upcoming 2026 state session.
