Teen Shot At Everett Apartment Complex: Police

No suspects have been identified in the seemingly random shooting at Cascadia Pointe Apartments Tuesday night that injured one person.

EVERETT, WA - A 17-year-old boy told Everett police he doesn't know who shot him near the entrance to Cascadia Pointe Apartments Tuesday night, nor does he know why he was targeted.

The Everett Police Department's Major Crimes Unit was dispatched to the shooting at 8710 Fifth Ave. W in Everett just after 8 p.m. April 2. At the scene, first responders found a teen suffering a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to Providence Regional Medical Center where he remains in stable condition, police officials said Wednesday.

Investigators reportedly located several bullet holes in an apartment building near where the shooting occurred, but no other residents reported any injuries.

The only information gathered on the potential suspect(s) was that they fled the area in an unspecified vehicle after the shooting.
