Winning $754.6 Million Powerball Jackpot Ticket Sold In WA
The prize is the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot and ninth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won, according to Powerball.

A single ticket in Washington won the $754.6 million Powerball jackpot — the fifth largest prize in the game's history — after matching all six numbers drawn in the Monday drawing, Powerball announced in a news release Tuesday morning.
The winning numbers on Monday were 5, 11, 22, 23, 69 and the Powerball was 7. A post on the Washington Lottery website confirms that someone in the state hit the jackpot Monday night.
The prize is the ninth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won, according to Powerball.

Players in Michigan and New York won $1 million prizes in Monday's drawing while one Texas player won $2 million with the Power Play.
The full jackpot is for a winner opting for an annuity distributed in one immediate but partial payout followed by additional payments over 29 years that increase by 5% annually. The winner also can opt for a one-time cash payment of $407.2 million.

Both prizes available are the amounts before taxes, Powerball said.
The drawing was the first time the Powerball jackpot has been won this year. The Powerball jackpot was previously hit on Nov. 19 by a ticket in Kansas that won a grand prize worth $92.9 million.
The largest Powerball jackpot of all time was won in November when a California player won $2.04 billion.
The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9, according to Powerball. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
The next drawing is Wednesday, with an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
