• Law enforcement across Kitsap turn out to help kids during the holidays (kitsapsun.com) — Bainbridge Island Police officers joined agencies from across Kitsap County to help nearly 200 local kids shop for holiday gifts during this year’s expanded “Shop with a Cop” events. Students, many from low-income families, received escorts, spending money, and one-on-one time with officers, turning Walmart stores in Poulsbo and Port Orchard into festive hubs of community support and positive police interaction.
