Target Zero: Honoring law enforcement's battle against impaired driving at Night of 1000 Stars (clarkcountytoday.com) — Battle Ground’s police chief and officers took center stage as the Battle Ground Police Department hosted the regional Night of 1000 Stars impaired-driving enforcement event in east Vancouver. Local officers were honored alongside other Clark County agencies for stopping impaired drivers and supporting the Target Zero goal of eliminating traffic fatalities by 2030, with awards also recognizing education and engineering efforts.

Death notices: Dec. 17, 2025 (thereflector.com) — Battle Ground residents are mourning the recent deaths of Linda Pope, 85, and Eric Callahan, 47, whose passing is noted alongside several neighbors from nearby communities. The brief death notices list ages, hometowns, dates of death, and the local cremation or burial services handling arrangements, helping friends and neighbors stay informed and pay their respects.

His request comes as Councilor Michelle Belkot’s federal lawsuit over her removal from the C-TRAN board advances, now bolstered by a Skamania County sheriff’s report admitted as evidence.
5. Mavs cheer qualifies for state competition (theolympian.com) — Battle Ground High School will host the state cheerleading championships Feb. 6-7, bringing top teams from around Washington to town. Moses Lake’s Mavericks have already qualified and are chasing a ninth straight co-ed title, fine-tuning a crowd-focused routine as they prepare for the big event.
