1 Burglary Suspect Captured, Another Still Wanted: Bellevue PD

BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON — A recent tip from the community has led to the arrest of a burglary suspect considered armed and dangerous, according to the Bellevue Police Department. Patrick Thomas, 22, was arrested in Seattle on Tuesday, police confirmed.

Thomas, who was wanted in connection with a series of burglaries in Bellevue and neighboring cities, fled when he spotted officers, the police department said. As he took off, police said he attempted to dump a stolen, loaded pistol in a car. He was finally captured with the help of Seattle K9, the Gun Violence Reduction Unit and Seattle SWAT.

According to Bellevue police, during a search warrant of Thomas’ residence, detectives recovered fully outfitted body armor with a heavy plate, a large garbage bag filled with hundreds of pistol and rifle rounds, and pistol and rifle magazines. In Addition, investigators said they found a credit card embosser and dozens of victim’s driver’s licenses and credit cards.

A Crime Stoppers tip ultimately helped detectives locate and arrest Thomas, said police.

Detectives said they are still searching for 21-year-old Randy Andrews. Police said he has been charged with burglary and has a $50,000 warrant out for his arrest. Officers said is considered armed and dangerous.
