
The East Bellevue Community Council has a vacancy. The successful candidate will complete a term of office to expire on Dec. 31, 2013.
Formed under RCW 35.14, the EBCC is an elected body that has approval/disapproval authority over certain Bellevue ordinances and resolutions dealing with land use matters within its corporate boundaries, such as the Comprehensive Plan, zoning, subdivisions and conditional use permits. In addition to acting on land use matters, the EBCC follows and provides input to the on other local matters that directly or indirectly affect its service area.
Applicants must be qualified electors and reside within the East Bellevue Community Municipal Corporation (see photo). The East Bellevue Community Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the , 15230 Lake Hills Blvd. Attendance at other evening meetings is sometimes required.

You can conveniently apply online. Hard-copy applications are also available from the City Clerk’s Office or the Service First desk in City Hall, as well as in the Lake Hills Library and the Mini City Hall at Crossroads Shopping Center.

Applications must be electronically submitted, mailed, hand-delivered, faxed or emailed to the City Clerk on or before Tuesday, May 3, 2011 by 4 p.m. Hand-delivered applications can be left with the Service First desk on the first floor of City Hall.
