Bellevue Author Launches "The Gutenberg Rubric" Friday at Jitters

Nathan Everett of Bellevue will be celebrating the release of his latest book, “The Gutenberg Rubric,” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29 at

Everett’s book was a 2010 PNWA Literary Competition award winner. The PNWA annual writers’ conference will be held in Bellevue the first weekend in August.

“The Gutenberg Rubric” is a modern mystery linked to the historical story of Johannes Gutenberg, the man who invented moveable type. His invention is credited with creating a literary world.

As part of the book launch event, the Seattle Center for Book Arts Mobile Classroom will be doing a live demonstration on a movable type letterpress.
