Bellevue FD: Two Houses Involved in Newcastle Blaze
The Bellevue Fire Department is responding to a fire involving two homes in the 8800 block of 116th Ave. SE in Newcastle.
The responded to a fire that damaged two homes Sunday night in the 8800 block of 116th Ave. SE in Newcastle, just south of Bellevue.
According to Bellevue Fire Department, one home had a lot of damage to the carport and the house, and the neighboring house had siding and smoke damage.
The first reports of the blaze came in around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night, according to the Bellevue Fire Department. The fire was under control just before 11 p.m., the fire department reported.

No injuries were reported as a result of this fire, according to the Bellevue Fire Department. The homeowner of the home with the most extensive damage said he did not know what caused the blaze, according to a Bellevue Fire Department press release.
Fire investigators continue to search for a cause. Damage is estimated to be around $250,000, according to Bellevue Fire.
