• Tokyo Stop Teriyaki linked to E. coli (foodpoisonjournal.com) — Public Health officials are investigating an E. coli O157 outbreak linked to Tokyo Stop Teriyaki in Bellevue, where at least five King County diners reportedly got sick after eating there. The restaurant briefly closed for cleaning and food‑safety fixes, then reopened, and health officials urge anyone who ate there in November or December and later felt ill to complete their online survey.

• Bellevue man pleads guilty to $4.5M stolen goods scheme (mynorthwest.com) — A Bellevue resident has pleaded guilty in a federal case over a multimillion‑dollar stolen‑goods scheme that funneled retail products onto Amazon and eBay. Prosecutors say the operation, run from a Burien storefront, brought in more than $4.5 million before authorities seized about $2.4 million in merchandise and shut it down. Sentencing is scheduled for March 2026.

• Massive Radioactive Shrimp Recall Expands Again—What to Know ASAP (marthastewart.com) — A Bellevue-based seafood company is recalling more than 83,000 bags of frozen raw shrimp over possible radioactive cesium-137 contamination, though no illnesses have been reported.
