Interlake High School produced more 2012 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists than any other public school in the state, according to the Bellevue School District. Bellevue public schools produced 45 semifinalists this year.

New apartment complex in the Factoria neighborhood will help families and veterans in need. The official open house for the building was Friday.

Nordstrom at Bellevue Square brought in the gorgeous reality star turned author and fashion designer Lauren Conrad. She came to Savvy department of Bellevue Square Nordstrom to help style people with her new fashion line Paper Crown.

The condo development on Old Main Street is nearly 70 percent sold, and one of three retail spaces leased.

The U.S. Department of Justice recently released advice on how to avoid being "skimmed" -- a scheme that steals the debit card numbers and pins of unsuspecting ATM users. The advice comes on the heels of some Eastside skimming cases.

Bis on Main's diner-centric service has helped the Old Bellevue restaurant thrive for 13 years and a facelift.

The weekend closure of Interstate 405 has been postponed because of rain forecast for Sunday, the Washington State Department of Transportation said. Still, motorists should be ready for the new onramps connecting downtown Bellevue to Interstate 405 and State Route 520.
