Eastgate Key Bank Robbed, Reward Offered For Information

The Eastgate branch of Key Bank was robbed by a masked suspect Tuesday. The FBI and the Bellevue Police Department issued photos of the man with and without his mask.

The FBI is looking for a man suspected of robbing the Key Bank Eastgate Branch around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday wearing a ski mask, according to an agency press release.

The FBI and the issued surveillance photos of the man, who charged into the Key Bank at 3240 156th Ave. SE.

The FBI described the suspect as a white man, aged 20s to 30s, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with an average build.

The man showed a gun and told people inside the bank to put their hands up, jumped behind the counter and took cash, said Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate.

The man then left the bank, and headed northbound on foot toward the Embassy Suites located at 3225 158th Ave. SE, Iafrate said. Law enforcement combed the area for several hours, she said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for a tip that leads to the arrest and charge of the person suspected of involvement in the incident. People with information can call 1-800-222-TIPS, according to the FBI.
