She won the Alfred I.duPont-Columbia University Award for excellence in broadcast journalism for the series. Seattle Magazine listed Frame as one of the 25 Most Influential People of the Year, and the Municipal League of King County honored her as Governmental Reporter of the Year.
Frame will share what led to the “Waste on the Water” story, the reporting process and the results. “I’m looking forward speaking at the Newcastle Chamber event. It’s a real compliment to know that community and business leaders are interested in our work. And, it’s always fun to share behind-thescenes stories,” said Frame.
