MamaCon is Saturday! Drop by and Say Hi!

This weekend is , the conference for modern moms, will have tips, advice and lots of fun for local moms.

Drop by Patch's table Saturday for a chance to win people who come by can enter to win our gift bag with goodies by signing up for our newsletter.

This parent-only event will be Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the . There was a free preview that was open to the public on Friday.

But while kids should stay home (perhaps with a baysitter), dads are welcome to come!

Tickets are $169 to access the dozens of workshops and speakers on Saturday. The vendor fair includes food, massages, pedicures, jewelry and other products and services.

Seattle-area moms and parent educators Amy Lang and Kim Estes, known as here on Bellevue Patch, organized the conference. (Patch is also one of the convention sponsors.)

More than 50 speakers will address subjects on parenting, including life strategies, discipline and moms setting aside time for themselves.

Speakers include Rosalind Wiseman, New York Times best-selling author of Queen Bees and Wannabes.

Local mom, comedian and Huffington Post writer Karen Mangiacotti will do stand up.
