State Route 520 Closed Through Weekend

All lanes will be closed between Seattle and I-405 beginning at 11 p.m. Friday.

State Route 520 will be closed all weekend between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and I-405 so crews can install 40 massive concrete girders for new lidded overpasses above the roadway.

The closure will begin at 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and continue through 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, according to an announcement from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

During the closure, crews will setting concrete girders at 84th Avenue Northeast and Bellevue Way Northeast. The Bellevue Way Northeast overpass will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Saturday for the construction work.
